LOCAL State netball players have received a boost from a Maddington business that donated money to the club. Swan Rangers state netball team received $5000 from Great Aussie Patios this month. The Rangers’ league, reserves and under-18 teams will share in the sponsorship. Great Aussie Patios managing director Marcus Fulker told the players he was proud to be involved with such a committed club. “It’s not always about winning. It’s about discipline, having a positive attitude and always doing your best,” he said. The Rangers State League team includes representatives from the Eastern Hills, Foothills, Kalamunda, Noranda and Swan Districts netball associations. The Rangers have played in the league since 1987 and have won four premierships.
